Meet the maker
Loud color. Louder statements.
One woman, one studio in College Park, Maryland, and a standing refusal to make anything beige.
We believe that handmade should be a power move. We aren’t interested in “safe” designs or beige aesthetics. If you’re looking for something subtle, you’ve probably taken a wrong turn on the internet.
Hi, I’m Lisa, the founder, designer, and one-woman production line behind ShesSoCrafty Goods. My journey into making didn’t start with industrial laser engravers and 3D printers. It started back in 2007 with puppets and hand-stitched baby shoes. Over 3,000 pairs of them, to be exact.
Then came a six-year, soul-crushing detour into the sterile world of corporate finance, where I quickly realized that spreadsheets don’t spark joy, or revolutions. I traded the cubicle for a laser engraver and finally got back to making things that actually matter.
Today, ShesSoCrafty Goods operates 100% out of my studio in College Park, Maryland. We specialize in bold handmade accessories, feminist gifts, and pop-culture-infused goods designed for people who refuse to be quiet.
Every single creation that leaves this studio is carefully crafted by hand. No outsourcing, and absolutely no print-on-demand. Whether it’s a sparkling custom NFC mixtape keychain, a “Surviving Out of Spite” tote bag, or a protest-ready sticker, we put our heart into the hardware.
