About ShesSoCrafty Goods
Meet Lisa…She’s Fun
Loud Color. Louder Statements. Meet the Maker Behind ShesSoCrafty Goods.
We believe that “handmade” should be a power move. We aren’t interested in “safe” designs or beige aesthetics. If you’re looking for something subtle, you’ve probably taken a wrong turn on the internet.
Hi, I’m Lisa—the founder, designer, and one-woman production line behind ShesSoCrafty Goods.
My journey into making didn’t start with industrial laser engravers and 3D printers. It started back in 2007 with puppets and hand-stitched baby shoes. Over 3,000 pairs of them, to be exact. Then came a six-year, soul-crushing detour into the sterile world of corporate finance, where I quickly realized that spreadsheets don’t spark joy—or revolutions. I traded the cubicle for a laser engraver and finally got back to making things that actually matter.
Today, ShesSoCrafty Goods operates 100% out of my studio in College Park, Maryland. We specialize in bold handmade accessories, feminist gifts, and pop-culture-infused goods designed for people who refuse to be quiet. Every single creation that leaves this studio is carefully crafted by hand—no outsourcing, and absolutely no print-on-demand. Whether it’s a sparkling custom NFC mixtape keychain, a “Surviving Out of Spite” tote bag, or a protest-ready sticker, we put our heart into the hardware.
Our Core Values:
Unapologetic Originality: We make things for the bold, the bright, and the vocal. Our pieces are conversation starters and middle fingers to the status quo.
Built for Real Life: We don’t do fragile. Our 3D-printed keychains, resin bag clips, and stainless steel statement jewelry are tested for durability so you can carry your vibe with you everywhere.
Radical Inclusivity: We are proudly a Black woman-owned small business. ShesSoCrafty Goods is, and always will be, a fiercely LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC-friendly space.
Your stuff shouldn’t be boring, because you aren’t boring. Thank you for supporting independent art and carrying a piece of my studio into the world.
Handmade with love, a little salt, and a lot of ❤️
Stay Bold,
Lisa
